The first experience was when I worked as a teacher , in a deep region d in the Middle of Morocco. full of mountains, marginlized, difficult space, poverty and far away from the notion of ‘civilization’. in this space children in most cases left school to help the ftheir families, and the path of girls is usually marriage at a very early age, I turned the Sunday holiday into a day for theatrical workshops, and I could see the smile of the children and the joy of the students in those moments, then the joy extended to all the population of that region as they talked about the development of their children’s level of learning. I was happy to see the effect of theater and its ability to engage the students and make them feel better.
The second experience was when we worked in one of the projects on a human rights issue related to “marriage of minors” and how students engaged with love in workshops and expressed their problems with all sincerity. Actually, theater is a gateway to revealing and expressing problems that, if the style were direct, would not have been revealed.
Touching moments and powerful work. keep it up.
Great work Adil, hats off. Keep up the good work.
